Roy Foster “Red Boy” Cosar, age 51 and a resident of Ada, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at his home.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 23rd at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Konawa, Oklahoma. Skip Foster will officiate, and burial will follow at the Cosar Family Cemetery in Konawa.
Red Boy was born November 5, 1969 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Roman Cosar and Judith Irene (Bath) Cosar. He graduated from Konawa High School and attended college at East Central University in Ada. He became an architect for the City of Ada and was a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Red Boy loved sports and was an avid OU fan.
He is survived by two sons, Ryan Foster Cosar of Denver, Colorado, and Rayce Dalton Cosar of Ada; two brothers, Aaron Lee Cosar of Midwest City, and Jesse Ray Cosar of Konawa; one sister, Fannie Ruth Morphis of Konawa; former wife, Robin (Allen) Cosar; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roman and Judith Cosar.
