Roman Louis Fife

Roman Louis Fife, resident of Shawnee, Oklahoma, died on January 8, 2021, at the Veterans Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Roman was born on January 20, 1945, in Seminole, Oklahoma, to the late Dixon and Leister Fife. He was a 1964 graduate of Seminole High School.  Roman was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War. 

Roman is survived by his son, Stephen Fife and wife, Teresa; four grandchildren, Austin Fife and wife Jessie, A.J. Fife, Gabriel Fife and Zachariah Fife; one great granddaughter, Aaliyah; sister, Elsie Rabiee; numerous nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.

Roman was preceded in death by his parents, Dixon and Leister Fife and sister, Lou Deer.

Wake services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 6:00 PM at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK.  Burial will follow at Kernell Family Cemetery in Seminole, OK.

Those serving as casket bearers will be Stephen Fife, Austin Fife, Gabriel Fife, Zachariah Fife, Alex Rabiee and Tyler Prater.  Honorary casket bearers will be Greg Powers, Phil Prater, Ferrell Smith, Marion Jones and Keith Coker.

In light of the current pandemic, masks are required and measures to social distance will be in place.  Seating will be limited to 50 attendees.
