Rhonda Sue Underwood

Rhonda Sue Underwood passed away at the age of 60 on May 31, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was a resident of Ada, Oklahoma and a member of the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma. She was born December 7, 1960 in Prague, Oklahoma to parents Tecumseh Underwood and Nagie (Harjo) Underwood.

Rhonda was a woman of faith who loved the Lord. She enjoyed helping and taking care of and feeding people. She was the rock who held everything together.

Rhonda is survived by her children; Honece Pipestem of Red Rock, Oklahoma, Julia Pipestem of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, William Pipestem of Wichita, Kansas and Victoria Pipestem of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, her siblings; Tecumseh Underwood, Ted Underwood, Pamela Yahola and Donna White Buffalo and her grandchildren; Michael, Michelle, Vfastv, Ayo, Jonnie, Angel, Espoke, Stoni, Zephaniah, Maya and Josiah and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters and three nieces.

The Wake service for Rhonda will be Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at Sand Creek Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 4, 2021, at Sand Creek Baptist Church with Jason Tiger officiating.

Casket bearers will be William Underwood, Michael Deere, Milique Simmons, Anthony Underwood, Vfastv Harjo and Ayo Harjo. Honorary casket bearers will be Leon Pipestem, Honece’ Pipestem, Tip Underwood, Ted Underwood and Cha-Chi-O Pipestem.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
