Maudie Morrison Obituary

Maudie (Woods) Morrison, age 89, went home to be with the Lord and her husband on Friday, August 27, 2021, at her home in Seminole, Oklahoma. She married Fred Morrison on February 7, 1951, in Seminole and they shared 66 years together before he passed away on February 2, 2016.

Maudie was a founding member of the Lord’s Community Church in Seminole. She worked at the old Seminole Hospital as a housekeeper and was a bus driver for Varnum Schools.

Left to cherish Maudie’s memory are her children; Leora Cox, Debbie and Vernon Mills, Fred and Ella Morrison, James Morrison and Terry and Linda Morrison, sister; Norma Revis, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred Morrison and her son-in-law, Ron Cox.

In honor of Maudie’s memory, the family would like for you to remember her with an act of kindness for someone.

Maudie requested that there be no funeral service for her.
