Lois "Elaine" (Sutton) Walker

Lois "Elaine" (Sutton) Walker, age 78 and a long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away March 16, 2023 at her home in Konawa.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Konawa Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.  Chaplain, Tim O’Gwynn of Elara Hospice will officiate.  Casket bearers are Levi Walker, Zach Walker, Brent Walker, Hank Ingle, Warren Walker, and Layton Walker.

Elaine was born August 2, 1944 in Vamoosa, Oklahoma to James "Arnom" Sutton and Louise (McMeans) Sutton Limke.  She married Walter Isaac "Ike" Walker on May 4, 1968 in Konawa.  Lois liked shopping, gardening, going to dances, and keeping her house fixed up.  She was a homemaker throughout her life.  Elaine attended Vamoosa Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Warren Walker of Konawa; one daughter, Rhonda Walker of Ada, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Barbara Walker of Piedmont, Oklahoma, Zachary Walker of Maud, Oklahoma, Haley Walker of Mustang, Oklahoma, Levi Walker of Mustang, Oklahoma, and Maelee Walker of Ada, Oklahoma; two great grandchildren, Makala Cosper of Piedmont, Oklahoma, and Alexx Walker of Seminole, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ike Walker; father, Arnom Sutton; mother, Louise Limke; one son, James Carlton Walker; and two brothers, Arnom Sutton, Jr., and John Sutton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Vamoosa Baptist Church.
