Linda Malone Obituary

Linda Kay Malone of Seminole passed away on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at St. Anthony Hospital, Shawnee.

She was born Nov. 9, 1952, in Seminole. She grew up in Seminole and graduated from Seminole High School in 1971.

She married Jim Malone on Jan. 14, 1972. He survives her, of the home.

She loved fishing, gardening, bird-watching and cooking for her family. She cherished spending time and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed her relationships with her friends and family.

She worked at Seminole Public Schools for more than 25 years as a cook in the Northwood cafeteria, where she later retired.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Jill Malone of East Grand Forks, Mn.; her daughter, Misty Rowan of Seminole; two brothers, Jimmy Hardin and B.C. Hardin; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sally and Bill Elkins, and Givonna and David Carter; one brother-in-law, Johnny Malone; and five grandchildren, Ciarra Malone, Abby Rowan and Chase Rowan, all of Seminole, and Carter and Greyson Malone, both of East Grand Forks, Mn.; and two great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Gracie Malone, both of the home.

No services are planned at this time.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
