Katherine Ann Sanford

Katherine Ann Sanford, age 49 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away May 18, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma.

A memorial service is planned for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday May 25th at Golden Years in Konawa, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.  James Hockett will officiate.

Katherine was born September 10, 1972 in Port Angeles, Washington to Sandy Sanford and Peggy (Merrifield) Sanford.  She attended college and worked as the Head of Housekeeping for a National Park.  Katherine always stayed busy, and she loved to crochet.  She was also a fiber artist.

She is survived by her parents, Sandy and Peggy Sanford of Washington; one son, Michael Sanford of Port Angeles, Washington; two brothers, Shane Sanford of Port Angeles, Washington, and Woody Sanford of Princeton, North Carolina; her friends in Konawa; and the staff of Golden Years of Konawa.
