Jerry Don Richards

Jerry Don Richards, Seminole resident, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 in Seminole, Oklahoma, at the age of 69.  Jerry was born on September 10, 1953 in Earlsboro, Oklahoma to Floyd Richards and Louise (Sanderson) Richards.

Jerry enjoyed fishing, old cars and spending time with his family.  He loved his daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was a firm believer in the Bible.  Jerry loved working on cars with his grandson, Jerry Pallas.  He took great joy in sitting on the porch in the mornings, drinking his coffee and smoking a cigarette.  He greatly enjoyed his sweet tea and chicken.  Jerry was a loving man with a huge heart.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Kerri Pallas of Seminole, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Shelbi Pallas, Jerry Pallas, Sierra Pallas, Jessie Pallas and Hailey Pallas; great grandchildren, Jayceon Dawkins, Kingston Richards, Simone Daniels-Richards and Sadie Whittaker and many other family and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Richards; brother, George Richards; father, Floyd Richards and mother, Louise Richards.

Those serving as casket bearers will be Jerry Pallas, Edward Simpson, Daniel Russell, Roy Mcausland, Hunter Robledo and Jarrod Reese.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma.  Eric Thlocco will officiate.  Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.  Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
