Jeremy Douglas Bounds, age 41 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at his home.
A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 24th at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Tommy Jesse will officiate and Phillip Bentley will assist, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Casket bearers are Joe Morgan, Chad Huckleberry, Shane Impson, Christopher Impson, Frankie Impson, and Frank Kelley. Honorary bearers are Steven Cellars, Blake Lancaster, Edward Heard, Johnathan Davis, and Cody Key.
Jeremy was born June 28, 1979 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Jerry Don Bounds and Rosalie (Rains) Bounds. He graduated from Konawa High School in 1998, and he worked as a crew leader for Herriman’s oil and gas company. He was a member of Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa, Oklahoma, and he loved to go fishing and to go to the casino.
He is survived by two brothers, Johnathon Bounds and wife, Andrea of Konawa, and Raymond Howard of Shawnee, Oklahoma; two sisters, Sherry Bentley and husband, John of Konawa, and LaDonna Howard of Konawa; and a host of nieces, and nephews, and other family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Jimmy Howard.
