James "Jim" Williams

James (Jim) Williams passed from this earth Sunday, June 6, 2021. Jim was born on October 23, 1953, in Farmington, New Mexico to Betty (Gordon) Williams and Charley Williams.

Jim was preceded in death by his dad Charley and his sister Dorene.

Jim leaves behind his loving wife Bettie M. Williams; his mom, Betty G. Williams; brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Laura Williams; sister, June Carpenter; son and daughter-in-law, Zoope and Jenny Williams; daughter, Becky; step-daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Norman Cornell; step-daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Roy Eavenson; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Jim served his country as a sergeant in the Air Force and was Honorably Discharged on January 24, 1978. Jim enjoyed the outdoors and being connected with nature. He spent many hours with his children and grandchildren teaching them about plants and animals. He loved the Lord and was a man of faith. His memory will be cherished by those he left behind.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
