J. B. Hoskins, age 87 and a resident of Asher, Oklahoma, passed away at his home Monday, September 14, 2020.

A graveside service at Vista Cemetery near Asher, Oklahoma is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2020 under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.  Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate.

J. B. was born December 29, 1932 in Asher, Oklahoma to Johnson Scott Hoskins and Bertha (Hunsucker) Hoskins.  After obtaining his G.E.D. J. B. proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corp., and he worked as the Human Resource Manager for Rockwell International Aircraft.  He married Nancy Yonkings.  J. B. loved horse racing and cooking.

He is survived by two daughters, Dawn Anderson and fiancé, Daniel Evans of Asher, Oklahoma, and Shelley Southfield and husband, Tim of Fallon, Nevada; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnson and Bertha Hoskins; his wife, Nancy Hoskins; two sons, Raymond and Jay Hoskins; and numerous brothers and sisters.
