Gail Marie Warden

Seminole resident, Gail Marie Warden, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, in Seminole at the age of 68.

Gail, the daughter of Richard and Jessie (Denton) Kretchmar, was born December 25, 1955, in Hobbs, New Mexico.  On December 29, 1973, she married John Wesley Warden, in Seminole.  Gail worked for several years as a CNA.  She and John were a staple at Sportsman’s Lake in Seminole, where John worked as a lake ranger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Jessie Kretchmar.

Gail is survived by her daughter, Shellie Gibson, of Sheridan, Indiana; a sister, Linda Walker, of Sparks; three grandchildren, Samuel Gibson, Lacy Gibson, and Madison Carroll; and three great grandchildren, Amelia Gibson, Alaina Gibson, and Wesley Gibson.

Funeral service will be Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home, with Carl Whitfield officiating.  Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, in Seminole.
