Erika Janelle Harjo

Erika Janelle Harjo, age 28 and a resident of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Erika was born May 25, 1992, in Ada, Oklahoma to William Sterling Knight and Sharon Lynn (Harjo) Ortiz.  She was a graduate of Seminole High School and attended Seminole State College.  Erika worked as a shipping and receiving clerk for the Wrangler Plant in Seminole.  She loved watching movies, shopping, eating out, and being with her family.  Most of all, she loved her baby.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her mother, Sharon Ortiz of Seminole, and her father, William Knight; one son, Zane Harjo of the home; two brothers, Anthony Harjo of Seminole, and David Harjo of Seminole; four sisters, Sonya Harjo of Oklahoma City, Alice Harjo of Seminole, Stephanie Harjo of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Tristan Knight of McLoud, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by one son, Camden Rain Harjo.

Funeral services are planned for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Seminole.  Burial will follow at the Harjo Family Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.  Casket bearers are Aaron Wilson, David Wilson, Anthony Wilson, Samuel Harjo, Brian Harjo, and John Lusty.
