David Wayne Stanfill

David Wayne Stanfill, age 65, passed away at his home in Seminole, Oklahoma on June 29, 2020. He was born on June 5, 1955 in Los Banos, California to parents John William Dennis Stanfill and Eunice Marie (Wiley) Stanfill. He lived in Los Banos until the family moved to Seminole in February of 1963 where he lived until his death. He graduated from Seminole High School and attended Seminole State College for two years.

David worked in construction, in the oilfield and as a musician. He was a member of Lord’s Community Church since 2010. He was also a BMI member.  He loved writing, recording and playing music, singing, woodwork and yardwork.

David is survived by his brothers; John Stanfill and his wife Nancy, James Stanfill, Roger Stanfill and his wife Linda and Randall Stanfill and his wife Cheri, his sisters; Joyce Benn, Gina Marshall, Ramona Stanfill and Pamela Stanfill and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; John and Eunice Stanfill and his sister; Kathleen Shaw.

Graveside services for David will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Little Cemetery with Jimmy Moreland officiating. Lord’s Community Church will host a dinner for the family following the service.

Honorary bearers will be Hayden Bryant, Houston Nunnelly, Dax Benn, Shane Stanfill, Jeremiah Stanfill, Daniel Stanfill, Kylar Benn and Jack Stanfill.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
