Clarice Morris, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away September 28, 2020 at the age of 78. She was born February 12, 1942 in Seminole to parents William Harris and Clara (Morgan) Harris. She was a graduate of Bowlegs High School and attended Joplin Junior College. She married Jack Morris on September 2, 1961 in Seminole. Jack passed away March 16, 2012.
Clarice enjoyed travelling, playing cards and scrabble, country and western music, reading Louis L’Amour books and the desert. She loved being with her family. She volunteered at the Heritage House and was a member of the First Christian Church of Seminole.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons; David Gregory Morris and his wife Sherry of Seminole and John Micheal Morris of Oklahoma City, sister; Ida Doris Richmond, grandchildren; Joshua Morris and his wife Brittnee and Tristan Morris and great-grandchildren; Hadley Bryn Morris and Preslee Jade Crowl. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister and one brother.
The family plans a memorial service at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
