Clarence Morrison Jr.

Clarence Morrison Jr., Shawnee resident, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in Shawnee at the age of 45.  Clarence was born on October 7, 1977 in Shawnee, OK, to Clarence Morrison Sr. and Rose (Price) Morrison. He grew up in Oklahoma City and Shawnee.  Clarence married Brandi Wolf Morrison on June 6, 2019 in Shawnee. 

Clarence enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles.  He was a member of Pit Bull Riders.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Brandi Morrison; grandma, Dora Thomas; son, Henry Weaver of Shawnee; four daughters, Oshae Morrison of Oklahoma City, Alexa Rideaux of Seminole, Kadesha Lagway of Oklahoma City and Carla Vann of Idabel; Niece raised as a daughter, Darriel Charles; sister, Christy Morrison; two brothers, Scotty Morrison and Anthony Holland; three grandchildren, Maddyx Weaver, Ivy Hawkins and Kamryn Haney; a host of nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.

Clarence was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Morrison Sr.; mother, Rose Price Morrison; brother, Marcus Johnson and grandpa, Buster Thomas Sr. 

Casket bearers will be Andrae Tramble, Scotty Morrison, Arnell Kemp, Anthony Holland Jr., Carlos Slaughter, Sr., Henry Weaver Jr., Orlando Portwood Jr., Markeleus Daniels and Ray Daniels.  Honorary casket bearers will be Eddie Thomas Sr., Shawn Thomas, Patrick Thomas and Buster Thomas Jr.  Flower girls will be Honesty Wolf, De’Zire Jackson and Za’Nya Jackson.

Viewing will be on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Friday, January 20, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, with Pastor Tony Watts officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Matthews Cemetery.
