Celia Lewis Obituary

Seminole resident Celia Sue Lewis, passed away Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023, at her home.

Celia, the daughter of Raymond and Patricia (Phillips) Carrick, was born May 1, 1956, in Anchorage, Alaska. Celia married Kenneth Monroe Lewis, Mr. Lewis passed away on December 10, 2005. She retired from the California Department of Corrections, where she worked as a corrections officer.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and by a brother.

Celia is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Joshua and Brandy Lewis, and Jacob and Michelle Lewis; six grandchildren, Samantha Lewis, Deanna Lewis, Amanda Waters, Jodee Battey, Kendra Lewis, and Ashlyn Lewis; two great grandchildren, William Carter Waters and Ember Nya Waters; and three sisters, Carla Raynes, Vivian Carrick and Cindy Taylor; along with many other family and friends.
