Beverly Ann (McClintock) Douglas

Beverly Ann (McClintock) Douglas, age 72 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City on April 3, 2023.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15th at Grace Community Church in Konawa, and Pastor Drew Isaacs will officiate.  Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.

Beverly was born January 1, 1951 in Arlington, Texas to James H. McClintock and Dollie B. (Wright) McClintock.  She graduated from Sam Houston High School, and was the Valedictorian of her class.  She married Jackey Glen Douglas on May 6, 1977 in Wewoka, Oklahoma.  Beverly was a self-employed nail technician and later, she worked cleaning houses.  Beverly was a member of Grace Community Church. She and her daughter, Shelley enjoyed cleaning the church together, and they both loved to go shopping.

She is survived by her husband, Jackey Douglas of the home; two sons, Gary Wayne Richey and wife, Mary of Arlington, Texas, and Larry Glen Richey and wife, Bethany of Frisco, Texas; one daughter, Shelley R. Kilpatrick and husband, Marty of Sasakwa, Oklahoma; three brothers, Jimmy, Kenneth, and Tommy McClintock, all of Texas; one sister, Pamela of Texas; six grandchildren, Robert Wayne Richey, Jonathan Kyle Richey, Kori Lynn Island, Carley Richey, and Paige Richey; Shawn Rae Island; fifteen great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
