Bernice Marie (Billie) Cook

Bernice Marie (Billie) Cook, age 57, passed away at her home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on May 12, 2021. She was born on November 18, 1963 in Claremore, Oklahoma to parents Joe Johnson Billie, Sr. and Cora Mae (McCulla) Billie. She a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. She married Stephen A. Cook in 1989. She was a homemaker and enjoyed going to garage sales and jamming to music on YouTube.

Bernice is survived by her husband Stephen Cook, her sons; Johnstone Cook and Jacob Sipes and his wife Heidi, daughter; Vanessa Mattheyer and her husband Luke, brothers; Dusty Billie, Sr., Joe Billie, Jr. and his wife Melinda, Jody Billie, Johnny Billie and Johnny Sands and Helen Brumley, sisters; Betty Jo Downing, Martha Wind and her husband Jesse, Roseanne Blalock, Sue Robertson and her husband Scot and Carolyn Hall and Junior Coody, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Jackie Beaver, William Billie and Curtis Billie and sister; Nellie Starr.

Viewing for Bernice will be from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Jesse Wind officiating. Burial will follow at Snake Creek Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Casket bearers will be Lawrence Downing, Noyah Downing, Nathan Billie, William Wind, Justin Robertson and Chris Hall.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
