Adrenetta Kay (Wheeler) Carter, passed away July 25, 2020 at the age of 54 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born August 18, 1965 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to parents Donald William Wheeler and Sharron Lee Irons. She grew up in the Wewoka/Seminole area.
Adrenetta was a restaurant owner. She loved to cook and bake, make jewelry and spend time with her grandkids.
Adrenetta is survived by her birth mother; Sharron (Irons) Langston, her step-mother; Bonnie Wheeler, son; Jeremiah Carter and wife Tracy, daughters; Maegan Carter and James Davis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Danielle Wheeler of Shawnee, Oklahoma, brother; Shane Wheeler and wife Amy, sisters; Lynn Miller, Amy Johnson and husband Scott, Amanda Langston, Brenda Williamson and husband Jeremy and Connie Langston, grandchildren; Jessica and Chris Cofer, Jesslyn Davis, Hannah Johnson, Anny Wheeler, Summer Davis, Kyle Wheeler, Austin Davis, Violet Wheeler, Coltin Davis and Madison Carter and great-grandchild; Addie Cofer. She was preceded in death by her father Donald Wheeler.
Viewing for Adrenetta will be from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Fairview Baptist Church with Pastor David Swift officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Frank Roy, Wesley Crunk, Chris Cofer, Joe Carter, Shane Wheeler and Taylor Langston.
Instead of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made toward Adrenetta's funeral expenses to Swearingen Funeral Home, 1001 N. Milt Phillips Avenue, Seminole, Oklahoma or by phone (405) 382-3456.
