Wynema "Winnie" Marshalee Montgomery Buley

Asher, OK resident Wynema “Winnie” Marshalee (Guinn) Montgomery Buley passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026 surrounded by family at her home at the age of 77. Marshalee was born on February 17, 1949 in Shawnee, OK to Emral Lee and Nelda Fern (Moody) Guinn. She grew up in the St. Louis, OK area. She was a 1967 graduate of St. Louis High School. She married Billy L. Buley on October 28, 1995 in Eureka Springs, AR.

Marshalee was a perpetual member of Tecumseh Eastern Star and a long time member of Trinity Baptist Church in Maud. She was an All-State women’s basketball player. Marshalee was proudly one of St. Louis’s first woman oil producers. She served as a Falls Creek cook and mom for 15 years. She was a mom to her daughters’ many friends.

Marshalee is survived by her husband, Billy L. Buley of Asher, OK: two daughters and sons-in-law, Maleea and Cody Campbell of Konawa, OK and Matonna and Eric Raines of Maud, OK; two step-sons and daughter-in-law, Randy Kenyon of Shawnee, OK and Jerrel and Shalia Buley of Harrah, OK; nine grandchildren, Ryan Kenyon, Colin Buley, Trelawny Shepherd, Taylor Buley, Dalton Buley, Hunter Buley, Emral Layne Haynes, Matraya Haynes and TyLee Fern Campbell; eleven great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Marshalee was preceded in death by her parents, Emral and Nelda Guinn; aunt, Rogean Worl; two step-sons, Beryl Buley and David Buley and grandson, J. B. Buley.

Those serving as casket bearers will be Stacy Palmer, Cody Campbell, Eric Raines, Greg Beverage, Michael Martin and Layne Haynes. Honorary casket bearers will be Bill Larid, Danny Slayter, Jack Oblander, Britt Waltman and Josh Williams.

Marshalee’s family will greet family and friends on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK. Refreshments will be served,

Viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2026 and from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK. Interment will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud, OK.
