Veronica Lynn (Pompa) Robinson, age 64 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed from this life at her home in Wichita, Kansas on November 30, 2025.
A Wake service is scheduled for Friday night, December 5th at High Springs Baptist Church of Konawa under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Veronica will be taken to the church at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6th at the church, and burial will follow at the Robinson Family Cemetery located at 13890 NS 3540 in Konawa. Pastor Skip Foster will officiate, and casket bearers are Scott Story, Ethan Brock, Joseph Pompa, Takoda Pompa, Dustin Anderson, Dylan Sanderson, Leander Yellowfish, and Lydell Yellowfish. Honorary bearers are Mitchell Harjo, Benson Allford, and Brian Anderson.
Veronica was born on November 21, 1961 in Wichita, Kansas. She received her G.E.D, and received an Associate Degree in Computer Science from Seminole State College. She was a sales representative for Marriott Hotels, and she was a member of the Army National Guard. She married Kenneth Robinson on September 22, 2018 in Wichita, Kansas. She loved arts and crafts, Diamond Art puzzles, and genealogy. Veronica was extremely proud of being a grandma. She lived to see five generations of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Robinson of the home; her mother, Sarah Porter of Konawa; mother-in-law, Rose Robinson of Wichita, Kansas; sister-in-law, Carolyn Cook andKeith of Wichita; three sons, Bobby Robinson, Jr. and Amanda of Konawa, Loring Robinson and Megan of Wichita, and Joshua Robinson and Sylvia of Konawa; one daughter, Charlene Robinson and Charles of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two bonus daughters, Angela Robinson of Konawa, and Selena Robinson and Shawn, Sr. of Konawa; four brothers, Raymond “Butch” Pompa, Jr. and wife, Kama of Wichita, Theron Colvin and wife, Tina, Raymond “Box” Pompa of Wichita, and Shawn Rodriguez and wife, Leslie of Wichita; three sisters, Monica Story of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Sonya Brock and husband, Tony of Choctaw, and Amy Sanderson and husband, Billy Don of Konawa; and twenty-three grandchildren, Aleciah, Tonoa, Nevaeh, Kyven, DeJa, William, Jr., Isabella, Phynix, Alaina, Damian, Letty, Mavrik, Eliana, Sophina, Autumn, Shawn, Jr., Eli, Quincy, Hannah, Elizabeth, Joann, LeighAnn, Joseph, four great grandchildren, Ga’mar, Alanee, Azorah, and Olivia; and one grandson on the way.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Pompa, Sr.; grandfather, Charlie W. Harjo; one brother-in-law, Michael Wayne Story; one nephew, Kyle Lee Brock; two grandsons, Nathias Ray Hawkins Robinson, and Enoch Mikkonapy Robinson; and bonus daughter, Angel Harjo.
