Tommy Allen Baugus Sr.

On 9 June 2023, Tommy Baugus Sr. 80, of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home with his children by his side.

Tommy, the middle of ten children, was born on July 30, 1942, to Henry Valentine Baugus and Leona Price in Sherman, Texas.

Tommy enjoyed recreational activities to include fishing, boating, riding horses, and motorcycles, and in his later years, the visiting the local casino’s.  Tommy retired in 2018 from Stewarts Wholesale and spent his remaining years enjoying his hobbies and spending time with his family.

Tommy was predeceased by his father, Henry Baugus; his mother, Leona Price-Tudor; his wife, Ruth Ann Baugus; brothers, James Baugus, Bryant Allen Baugus, Tim Baugus and sisters, Omadean Baugus, and Vivian Stewart.

He is survived by his children Beverly Thomas, Brenda Chambers (Kenny), Tommy Baugus (Sammi), and Angela Baugus; grandchildren, Justin Chambers, Destany Baugus, Briana Chambers, James Orrell Jr.; multiple great grandchildren; brother, Clem Baugus (Debbie); sister, Leona Young (Dewey) and many other family and friends.

Services will be held on Monday 12 June 2023 at 1:00pm at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.  Reception to follow in the family room.
