Thelma Fay Genser

Thelma Fay Genser, 92, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 31, 2025 in Graham, Texas. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday January 3, 2026 at Faith Center Church. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until service time at Faith Center in Graham, Texas under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home in Graham, Texas.  Burial will be at Vamoosa Cemetery in Vamoosa, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2026 under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma.

Thelma was born March 27, 1933 in Hardesty, Oklahoma to the late Mildred Bernice (Stump) Littleton and Roy Vernie Littleton. She attended Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, CA. Thelma married Max Genser, September 11, 1961 in Seattle, Washington. He preceded her in death on January 19, 1993. She was a housewife and loved spending time with family. Thelma loved all animals, especially the little petting zoo at the State Fair. Her greatest joy was having all her kids, grandkids, and great grandchildren around her. Thelma liked to read, paint and draw. She moved to Graham in September 2024 to be near family.

Survivors include; daughters, Julie Elrod and husband Gary of Graham, Joan Cowin and husband James of Sherman, and Janet Babb and husband Marty of Ada, OK.; daughter-in-law, Karen Genser of Sherman; brother, Roy Dan Littleton and wife Maureen of Chico, CA.; grandchildren, Brianne Elrod, Ryan and Sarah Elrod, Holly and Jake Hefton, Casey Cowin, Benji Cowin, Drew Cowin, Marissa and Bryson Harley, Brittany and Brent Eenigenburg, Brandon Babb, Kayla Babb, Truman Allen, Aiden Babb, Jackie and Braeton Anders; ten great grandchildren.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Ardith Lemons, and son Jack Genser.
