Ted Huggins

Ted Huggins, age 61 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away April 19, 2026 at his home.

No service is scheduled at this time, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.

Ted was born August 15, 1964 in Ada, Oklahoma to Bobby Glen Huggins, Sr. and Veda Mae (Abbott) Huggins. He graduated from Konawa High School, and he worked as a farmer. He married Susie Silas August 15, 1986 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He loved music, outdoors, and sports. Ted loved his family and was a full-time caretaker for his son Tyler, and he loved being a “Papa” to Ellie and Gentry.

He is survived by his wife, Susie Huggins of the home; one son, Tyler Huggins of the home; two daughters, Whitney Huggins of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Alisha Huggins and partner, Kacey Wolf of Norman, Oklahoma; one brother, Glen Huggins of Byng, Oklahoma; one sister, Beth Woody and husband, Ray of Konawa, Oklahoma; one brother-in-law, Kenneth Coleman of Konawa, Oklahoma; his life-long friend and chosen brother, Tommy Hays of Meeker, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Ellie and Gentry Rojas; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Kay Coleman.
