Tara Ann Cupp

Seminole resident Tara Ann Cupp, 47, passed away at her home on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

Tara was born on April 19, 1979, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, to Donald and Sharon (Weger) Bryant. She graduated from Kingfisher High School with the Class of 1998 and continued her education at several institutions, including Seminole State College. She worked as a receptionist at a medical clinic.

Tara found joy in coloring, playing video games with her sons, and singing. She loved cooking, shopping, and, most of all, spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Ova Bryant; her grandmother, Florene Weger; her uncles, Larry Weger and Michael Weger; and her aunts, Cathy Sipes and Sheryl Jump.

Tara is survived by her mother, Sharon Bryant; her father, Donald Bryant; her sons, Austin Tyler Cupp of Edmond and Jaxon Andrew Cupp of Edmond; her daughter and son-in-law, Shelby Taylor (Cupp) Garrett and Connor Garrett of Edmond; her beloved grandchildren, Bellamy Garrett and Blair Garrett; her sister and brother-in-law, Megan and Marc McComas of Ada; and many other cherished family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Harvey Road Baptist Church in Seminole, with Bryce Johnson officiating. Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
