Sherman Keith “Blake” Jones passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 in Earlsboro, Oklahoma. He was born on October 27, 1964, to Thelma Anita Faye Jones/Stern Lee and Jimmy Lee Robinson. Though life brought early transitions, Blake was lovingly raised in Altus, Oklahoma, by his Uncle Nate and Aunt Sue Jones, alongside his siblings. From an early age, he stood out as a talented athlete and was widely known for his natural charisma, generous heart, and ability to create lasting friendships wherever he went.
Blake spent many of his adult years in Oklahoma City and Edmond before settling in Seminole and later Earlsboro, Oklahoma. He was deeply devoted to both his family and his community. Alongside his wife, Rachelle Winrow, Blake raised three children—Tasha, Kolin, and Kourtney—with pride, love, and unwavering presence. His bond with his children was deep and joyful, and he found purpose and delight in coaching their Little League and AAU basketball teams.
Throughout his working years, Blake held a variety of roles—including early jobs at McDonald’s and United Motors of Seminole—but it was during his time at Indaco Metals, LLC in Shawnee, Oklahoma, where he truly found his professional home. Over the span of two decades, Blake advanced from Shop Foreman to a respected Sales Associate. He was known not just for his reliability and dedication, but for the genuine relationships he built with his colleagues and customers alike.
Blake’s impact extended beyond his career. He served his community with heart, first as a Councilman and briefly as Mayor of Earlsboro, where he championed improvements to roads and public safety. A man of deep faith and vibrant interests, Blake was a Deacon at Galilee Baptist Church and a member of the Monroe Wagoner Riding Club. He enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, horseback riding, and mentoring youth through sports and community involvement.
Blake is survived by his beloved wife, Rachelle Winrow; and his cherished children: Tasha Jones of Altus, OK; Kolin Jones of Los Angeles, CA; and Kourtney Jones of Oklahoma City, OK. He is also survived by his siblings: Paula
Alston and her husband Allen of Sumter, SC; Terence Jones of Seattle, WA; and Shawnda Holder and her husband Gregory of Seattle, WA; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will forever carry his memory forward.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Anita Faye Jones/Stern Lee; his father, Jimmy Lee Robinson; and his sisters, Stacy Jones-Franklin and Gloria Ann Jones.
Blake will be remembered for his radiant smile, his boundless compassion, and a legacy rooted in love, service, and community. His life, while not without challenge, was defined by strength, faith, and a deep care for those around him.
