Sharron Kay Birks

Sharron Kay (Jackson) Birks, Prague, OK resident passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at the age of 78. Sharron was born on April 2, 1948 in Shawnee, OK to John Clifford and Edith Evelyn (Raper) Jackson. She was a 1966 graduate of Maud High School. She worked as a secretary at Tinker Air Force Base. Sharron enjoyed playing Bingo and crafting.

Sharron is survived by her four brothers and sisters-in-law, Keith and Doris Jackson of Tuttle, OK, Dick and Ramona Jackson of Shawnee, OK, Tony Jackson of Depew, OK and Tom and Glenna Jackson of Maud, OK; one granddaughter, Edith Kay Hapner (Shane Miller); two great grandchildren, Wyatt and Evelyn; several nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.

Sharron was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Parr Birks and daughter, Jamie Kay Hapner.

Sharron’s brothers and nephews will serve as casket bearers.

Viewing will be from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Trinity Baptist Church in Maud, OK with Pastor Butch Bradley officiating. Interment will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud, OK.
