Samuel "Scotty" Scott Rosamond, Jr.

Samuel Scott “Scotty” Rosamond, Jr., Seminole resident, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023 in Seminole, at the age of 56.  Scotty was born on January 14, 1967 in Seminole to Samuel “Sam” Scott Rosamond Sr. and Betty Louise (White) Rosamond.  He grew up in Seminole. Samuel enjoyed cooking, fishing, playing cards and being a sports spectator.

Scotty is survived by two brothers, Gene Rosamond and wife, Jane of Eufaula, OK and Randy Rosamond and wife, Tabby of Wewoka; sister, Juanita Derryberry and husband, Gahlen of Duncan; stepdad, Curtis Wilson of Seminole and many other family and friends.

Scotty was preceded in death by his father, Sam Rosamond and his mother, Bettie Rosamond-Wilson.

Scotty’s siblings and their families will hold a private service at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
