Ryan Cody Burchett

Ryan Cody Burchett, Shawnee, OK resident, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025 in Maud, OK at the age of 34. Ryan was born on December 25, 1990 in Temple, Texas to Christopher Robert and Lisa Rochelle (Wise) Burchett. He grew up and spent most of his life in Shawnee. He was a 2009 Shawnee High School graduate.

Ryan enjoyed messing around in the garage, sewing, cooking, fixing things. He loved hanging out with his friends and listening to music.

Ryan is survived by his parents, Christopher and Lisa Burchett; daughter, Hazel Ryan Burchett; maternal grandmother, Teresa Wise; paternal grandmother, Diane Kaminski; brother, Tristin Burchett; sister, Shawnaci Burchett and many other family and friends.

Ryan was preceded in death by Evans C. Wise Sr.; Evans C. Wise Jr.; Frank Kaminski; Eastman Wise and great grandparents, Lewis and Mandy Wise.

A Celebration of Ryan’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
