Robert "Bob" Edwin Morgan

Robert (Bob) Edwin Morgan, of Prague, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the age of 89.  He passed gently at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Bob was born on April 23, 1933 to Jess and Irene (Lentz) Morgan, in Clinton, Oklahoma.  He attended Dale Schools and entered the U.S. Army, where he would serve in the Korean War.

Bob farmed and was a tool and die maker by trade.  He started and ran Arrow Plastics and later Meeker Supply.  He would go on to retire from Mercury Marine as the tool and die supervisor.  His hobbies were too many to list; but mainly he loved family, fishing, flying, traveling, hunting, trap shoots and much more.  Bob was a member of Shawnee Twin Lakes Trap Club, American Legion, and was a lifetime member of the VFW and the DAV.

Bob was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Mandi Baker; son-in-law, Terry Baker; parents; brothers, Roger and Max Morgan; sister, Marilyn Treat; uncle, Dan and aunt, Lillian Lentz.

Bob is survived by his wife, Anna of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Anita Morgan of Prague, James and Regina Schimmel of Meeker and Chuck and Vicki Morgan of Newalla; two daughters, Susie Morgan of Prague and Lori Baker of Prague; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shannon and Robbie Hulstine of Meeker and Marianne and Mike Long of Shawnee; one sister Joann Dudley of Oklahoma City and honorary daughter, Donna Johnson of Moore. He also leaves behind 16 grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and two on the way and many other family and friends.

A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, July 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to two of their top charities, The Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
