Robert Dean Heffley

Robert Dean Heffley, Porum, OK resident, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at his home, at the age of 75.  Robert was born on June 23, 1948 in Shawnee, OK to Rance Carl Heffley and Neater Ethel (Mitchell) Heffley. He grew up in Maud, OK.  He married Connie Honsinger on July 12, 1971 in Shawnee.

Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, traveling, building, crochet and quilting.  He was an avid Denver Broncos football fan. He loved chasing his grandkids and great grandkids.  Everyone thought of Robert as Super Man.  He was the most loyal, honest, hard-working and loving man you could find.  Robert and Connie had an epic love of 54 years and they left this life within days of each other because they couldn’t stand to be apart.

Robert is survived by sons, Sam Heffley of Japan, Danny Hall (Polly) of Oklahoma City, OK and Keith Crummett of Tecumseh, OK ; daughters, Carla Phillips of Shawnee, OK, Patty Harman (Tony) of Dale, OK, Rebecca Perkinson (Kelly) of Tishomingo, OK, Martha Jensen (Chad) of Henryetta, OK and Rhonda Crummett (Dave Cummings) of Tecumseh, OK; 18 grandchildren, Dessiree, Walter, Mary, Mathew, Thomas, Jessica, Brandon, Melanie, Gage, Breanna, Jordon, Allen, Christine, Destiny, Johntae, Jayshon, Jamarion and Rhiley; 8 great grandchildren, Jax, Rugar, Moxon, Jessie, Kiki, Mia, Baby Nugget and Hunter; and many other family and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and five sisters.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2019 Lona Ave., Seminole, Oklahoma 74868.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
