Rugenia "Gina" Morrison

Rugenia (Gina) Rawls Morrison was born October 27, 1950 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She passed away on June 26, 2026. Her parents were Ray W. Rawls Sr. and Lena Richardson Rawls. She was raised in Lamont, Oklahoma and graduated from Lamont High School in 1968. Gina attended Northern Oklahoma College where she received a business degree. She also attended Josier Beauty School in Ponca City, Oklahoma getting a cosmetology license. She was co-owner of American Petroleum and American Well Service retiring in 2014. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her beautiful flowers, cooking, and going to the lake spending time with family and friends. She also loved all of her pets over the years and currently has a cute doodle named Sadie which she adored.

Gina married the love of her life Ralph Morrison on October 17, 1979 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They were married for 40 years before Ralph passed on January 17, 2020.

Gina was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Lena Rawls; husband, Ralph Morrison; sister and brother-in-law, Darla and Dock Rogers; brother and sister-in-law, Ray (Butch) and Sherry Rawls and brother-in-law, Ronald Morrison.

Gina is survived by her step-daughter, Amber Morrison of Oklahoma City; niece, Ali Epley and husband, Millard Epley of Ada, Oklahoma; nephew, Curt Rawls and husband, Zack Courtney of Edmond, OK; nephew, Matt Walters and family of Fairview, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Debbie Morrison of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; nephews, Shane Morrison and Allen Morrison and their families; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She loved them all very much.

Honorary casket bearers will be Corey Wilson, Shane Rawls, Derrick McCormick, Millard Epley and Zack Courtney.

Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Gina’s family will greet family and friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor Dane Robinson officiating.
