A Celebration of Life will be held for Raymond (Ray) Walworth on Monday, July 27, 2026 from 2-4pm at Bill’s Tap House, 270 Narrows Road, Coldwater, Michigan 49036.
Ray was the son of Raymond and Lila Walworth, growing up on the family farm in the Montgomery, Michigan area and shared in hunting and fishing activities with his parents, his aunt and uncle, and his cousin Dave Potter. He graduated from the Camden Frontier High School in 1962.
Ray enjoyed time with family, hunting, fishing, boating, water skiing, snowmobiling, taking the kids tubing, and eating great food. He loved fast cars, fast boats, fast motorcycles, and fast snowmobiles.
Ray usually had more than one job at a time, but his regular employment included the Coldwater Regional Center, Michigan Department of Corrections, and part time at Otto and Sons Marina. After retirement, he moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where he continued enjoying fishing, boating, snowmobiling, riding his motorcycle, going to casinos, and Mom and Pop restaurants. He even worked for a few years grooming the snowmobile trails. He especially enjoyed sharing his beloved UP with family and friends.
Ray is survived by his wife Cynthia (Cyndy) Walworth, his daughter Laura and her husband Michael Ochampaugh, his son David and his wife Janna (Newcomb) Walworth, his daughter Chantal and her husband Jeremy Hayes, his stepson Bill and his wife Rhonda Murphy, his stepson Matt and his wife Susan Murphy, and his cousin Dave and his wife Jackie Potter, 16 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
