Peggi Charlene (Lumley) Franklin, age 55 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away at her home May 2, 2026.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2026 at the First Baptist Church in Konawa. Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral of Konawa. Honorary bearers are Dan Sampson, Jon Horn, Nick Hamilton, Lela Fredrick, Sara Barr, and Renea Nelson.

Peggi was born October 31, 1970 in Norman, Oklahoma to Frank Hyman Lumley and Anita Sue (Stoker) Lumley. She graduated from Tyrone High School and became a Security Office Clerk for the Chickasaw Nation. She worked for the tribal nation for twenty-one years, and she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Konawa.

She is survived by her husband, Casey Franklin of the home; two sons, Trevor Franklin of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Garrett Franklin and wife, Cora of Bristow, Oklahoma; one daughter, Franki Franklin of Konawa; three brothers, Randy Lumley of Kansas City, Kansas, Steve Lumley of Konawa, and twin brother, Charlie Lumley and wife, Stacey of Bridge Creek, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Cady, Ryett, Bodie, and Riggin Franklin; nieces and nephews, Brad Lumley and children, Amanda Brown and children, Shyla Lumley and children, Vashti Black and children, and Butter Bean Lumley; three great nephews and one great niece; and countless loving friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John and Beau Lumley.
