Pauletia “Gail” Collins, Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 in Shawnee, OK, surrounded by her loving family. Gail was born on November 27, 1945 in Ada, OK to Hubert Lee and Helen Marie (McMillin) Earls. She was raised from the age of two by her parents, Frog and Helen Sullivan. Gail was a 1964 graduate of Saint Louis (OK) High School. She retired after 24 years of service from her career at Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center. Gail was a member of Saint Louis First Baptist Church.

The dash above, between her date of birth and date of death, means everything. Gail filled this “dash” with taking care of her family, through kindness, her infectious laughter and an endless amount of love. This “dash” will forever be engraved on the hearts and souls of her family and friends.
Gail is survived by her daughter, Pam Strobach and husband, Ron of Slaughterville, OK; brother, Rusty Sullivan and wife, Sherri, of Noble, OK; two sisters, Pam Smith and husband, Gary of Saint Louis, OK and Susie Kilcrease and husband, Gary of Duncan, OK; her grandchildren, Dondi Fox and husband, Ben of Maud, OK, Megan Coffman and husband, John of Winfield, KS; Zach Megee and wife, Emily of Edmond, OK, Gavin Megee of Shawnee, OK, and Breena West and wife, Ciera of Shawnee, OK; two bonus granddaughters, Megan and Lindsay Strobach of Fort Worth, TX; five beloved great-grandchildren, Rya’Lynn Simons, Kinsley Johnson and Kevin Fox of Maud, OK, Boston and Sebastian Coffman of Winfield, KS and many beloved family members and friends.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Hugh D. Megee.
A celebration of Gail’s life will be held at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Carl Whitfield officiating.
