Nell (Whitley) Patterson

Nell Whitley Patterson, Noble resident, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 81.  Nell was born on July 4, 1941 in Milfay, Oklahoma to Cecil Whitley and Sadie (Price) Whitley.  She spent most of her life in Prague, Oklahoma.

Nell is survived by her daughter, Michele Hardy of Sugarland, Texas; two sons, Larry Patterson and wife, Kim Patterson of Norman, Oklahoma; Tony Patterson and wife, Deborah of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; sister, Freda Williams of Norman, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Erica Hardy, Cameron Gutierrez, Brandon Gutierrez, Jordan Gutierrez and Austin Gutierrez and many other family and friends.

Nell was preceded in death by her parents, Sadie and Cecil Whitley; siblings, Lila Roberts, Sherman Whitley, Herman Whitley and Cecil Ray Whitley.

Nell retired from her career managing at Wal-Mart. She was a loving and devoted mother, sister and grandmother.  She will be dearly missed.

Cremation arrangements under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
