Nadine McBeth

July 23, 1929 — July 10, 2024

Pastor Nadine McBeth, (Sister Nadine, Momadean, Grandmadean) was born on July 23, 1929 to Eula Greenwood and Joseph Alexander, in Reagan, Oklahoma. She left this life on July 10, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones, at the age of 94.

Nadine grew up just outside of Tishomingo, in Reagan, OK. Her love of music and The Lord began at an early age. She and her sisters sang at area gospel music singings. She continued this passion throughout her entire life, singing gospel praise songs as well as playing piano/keyboard. Later in life she sang with the group “The Redeemed”. This group was known to bless those who came to hear them sing.

Pastor Nadine was also the Head Pastor of Messiah’s Temple of Wewoka, OK, God’s Glory Temple of Seminole, OK, and Nadine McBeth Ministries Inc. of Seminole, OK. However, her ministry of God’s word began years earlier though her missionary work. Nadine was not afraid to pray and teach God’s word to anyone she met. She traveled to teach the good news at revivals, hospitals, other churches and even Oklahoma prisons. She truly loved every person she has ever prayed with.

People who knew Sister Nadine, also remember her for her big heart, and her welcoming spirit. She loved cooking for her family and friends, and no one ever left her house hungry. She was also known to play a mean game of Wa-Hoo, or dominoes, but somehow always managing to lose to her grandkids.

Sister Nadine also enjoyed renovating. She, and her late husband Ed, took on many remodeling projects. One project she was especially proud of, having no experience in carpentry at all, was when she built a patio deck with stairs. She always believed she could do all things through Christ.

Pastor Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, Edward McBeth; parents, Joseph Alexander and Eula Greenwood; her daughter, Marie Loving; her grandson, Travis Loving; brothers, Joseph Alexander Jr., Gilham Alexander; sisters, Geraldine Alexander, Angie Wiley, Blanche McConnell, Molsie Palmer and daughter-in law, Betty Claytor.

Nadine is survived by her two sons, Harry Claytor and Joe Gatewood and wife, Johnnie Gatewood; her sister, Wanda Chaffin; her grandchildren, Teresa Hannah, Tracy Gatewood, Trudy Gatewood, Dyannah McNatt Jones, Alex McNatt, Cindy Claytor-Grabin, DeWayne (Jason) Claytor, Timmy Gatewood, Gary Don Loving, Lacey Loving, Jonnie Miller, Heyleigh Gatewood; twenty-three great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren.
