Myra Katherine Harjo

Myra Katherine Harjo, Moore resident, passed away on August 23, 2024 in Moore at the age of 75. Myra was born on November 23, 1948 in Tahlequah, OK to John Brown and Inez Jane (Doxtator) Harjo. 

Myra loved her friends at Santa Fe Place. She loved making bracelets, playing games on her tablet and attending the Senior Center. No matter how many bracelets she had already made you she was definitely going to give you another one. Myra was an active member of Aktion Club. She loved volunteering in the community and participating in activities offered through Aktion Club. She enjoyed talking about her heritage and family. She took joy in spending time with the girls in the house and was always such a ray of sunshine. 

A Celebration of Myra’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Spring Church in Sasakwa. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
