Michelle Rene Callahan

Jones resident Michelle Rene Callahan passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at her home.

Michelle, the daughter of Paul Atchley and Junna (Treadway) Rush, and her step-father Vester “Nugget” Rush, was born August 20, 1974, in Oklahoma City.  She graduated with the Choctaw High School class of 1992.  Michelle was an inventory clerk with Western Inventory Service.  Michelle loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and rode countless miles with her fiancé, Leo Meyer.  She enjoyed quilting and cheering for OU.  She and Leo trained and showed Doberman Pinchers.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Junna Lynn Rush and her step-mother, Sherry Atchley.

Michelle is survived by her fiancé, Leo Meyer; her father, Paul Atchley; two sisters, Christina Milligan and Deborah Carver; three brothers, Brandon Mayes, Danny Carver and Brian Carver; her stepfather, Nugget Rush; her son, Gage Callahan; and many other family and friends.

There will be a funeral service Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.  Private burial will be at Little Cemetery in Seminole.  Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
