Mary "Sue" Lofton

Mary “Sue” Lofton, Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 in Seminole, at the age of 97. Mary was born on January 5, 1927 in Rudy, AR to James Monroe and Elsie Lea Barlow. She married her late husband, Lonnie Dale Lofton on November 24, 1947 in Seminole. He preceded her in death on October 20, 2001.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Walters and husband, Larry of Crane, TX; three grandchildren, Christie Merrifield and husband, Wayne of Waco, TX, Jo Bava and husband, Danny of Odessa, TX and Tim Walters of Orlando, FL; three great grandchildren, Alex Bava, Amanda Rogers and husband, Kent and Samantha Merrifield.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lonnie Dale Lofton.

Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery.
