Mary Annette (Conley) Andrews

Mary Annette Andrews, Seminole resident, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021, in Shawnee, at the age of 61.  Mary was born on August 9, 1960, in Wichita, Kansas to George Washington Conley II and Florence (Osborne) Conley.  She was a graduate of Sasakwa High School.  She worked as the office manager at Vickie’s Nutrition Store and also as the head cook at New Lima School and she worked at Oakridge Home.

Mary married Richard Curtis Andrews on March 26, 1987, in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death on December 15, 2003.  Mary loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.  She accepted Christ at a young age and belonged to Lord’s Community Church.

Mary is survived by her step mother, Betty Conley of Newton, KS; four sons, Curtis Andrews and wife, Kimberly of Wewoka, OK, Kevin Andrews and wife, Lonna of Seminole, OK, Jeremy Hinton and wife, Jessica of New Lima, OK and Johnny Andrews and wife, Maria of Del City, OK; five daughters, Lakisha Conley of Seminole, OK, TaNisha Moore of Tulsa, OK, Shawn Yearby and husband, Henry of Tulsa, OK, Shavonne  McPherson and husband, Phillip of Wichita, KS and LaSheika Brantley of Tulsa, OK; brothers, Anthony Conley Sr. of Seminole, OK, George Washington III of Washington, MS, Shane Austin of Stockton, KS; two sisters, Dr. Vickie Carter of Seminole, OK and Kristi Patrick and husband, James of Halstead, KS; grandchildren, Isaiah Conley, Jarek Edwards, Mariah Edwards, Mathias Edwards, Ny'lah Edwards, Trinity Mitchell, Treven Andrews, Jacinda Boyington, JaKayiah Andrews, JaKayla Andrews, Jaidyn Hinton, Josiah Hinton, Aleah Barnes, Jaylon Andrews and Jazzmin Andrews; two great grandchildren, Kizzie and Raiden Conley; a host of nieces and nephews; uncle, Tom Osborne of Okmulgee, OK; great aunt Madge Grayson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and numerous other family and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, George Conley III and Florence (Osborne) Conley; husband, Richard Andrews; sister, Diane Simpson; grandchildren, Jerrico and Jamarrian Edwards; nephew,  Anthony Conley Jr.; uncles, John Osborne, Leroy Osborne, Chester Osborne, Jeffery Osborne, Raymond Osborne, Bob Osborne and Isaiah Conley.

Those serving as flower girls will be Tierra Jones, VaShawnda Carter, Twyla Lane, Oleseah Banks, Shawn Island, Sasha Osborne and Trinity Mitchell.  Casket bearers will be Jeremy Hinton, Nicholas Hall, Carey Carter, Kemarrie Carter Hartfield, Amaryn Rowles Conley and Michael Conley.  Honorary casket bearers are Arron Osborne, Clarence Osborne, Michael Island, Warren Carter, Kamrin Conley and Kayvon Conley.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Monday, October 25, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Lord’s Community Church in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastors Jimmy and Juanita Moreland officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
