Maria Consuelo Saldana Delarosa

Seminole resident Maria Conseulo Saldaña Delarosa, 68, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026, at her home.

Maria was born on December 1, 1957, in Santa Maria del Río, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, to Ignacio Rodriguez Saldaña and Felicitas Alonso (Ibarra) Saldaña. On February 7, 1985, she married J. Carmen Delarosa in her hometown of Santa Maria del Río. Maria’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ignacio Saldaña; her daughter, Guadalupe Delarosa; her brother, Jacinto Saldaña; and her sister, Guadalupe Saldaña.

Maria is survived by her loving husband, J. Carmen Delarosa, of the home; her sons, Jose Delarosa of Seminole and Roberto Delarosa of Ada; her daughter, Sandra Ortiz of Shawnee; and eight grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Felicitas Saldaña; her brothers, Antonio, Raymundo, Ignacio, Alberto, and Angel Saldaña; and her sisters, Maria, Josefina, and Irma Saldaña.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 8, 2026, at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole with Pastor Gaspar Reyes officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
