Margaret Anne Finke

Margaret Anne Finke, Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 in Shawnee at the age of 90. Margaret was born on October 3, 1934 in Henryetta, OK to Elza Alfred and Jessie Mildred (McKelvey) Hart. She graduated in 1952 from Excelior High School and later attended East Central University. Margaret married the love of her life, Hugo Richard Finke on August 4, 1952 in Mississippi. They raised four daughters together. Margaret was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, decorating, playing piano, camping, boating and sewing.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 73 years Hugo Finke; four daughters and sons-in-law Susan and Steve Barker of Leander, TX, Sheryl and Jerry Day of San Antonio, TX, Shelly Riddle of Seminole, OK and Sandra and Kirk Burgess of Bixby, OK; eight grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John R. Hart.

Those serving as casket bearers will be Steve Barker, Justin Barker, Jacob Barker, Ethan Barker, Cameron Burgess and Stuart Day.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Church of Christ at Little with Larry Vickers officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery.
