Tulsa, Oklahoma resident, Marcie Long, went to be with our Lord on Friday, February 6, 2026, at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa at the age of 63. He was born May 1, 1962, in Tulsa County at St. John’s Hospital to Elsie Jean (Tiger) Long and Henry Long. He was a proud member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma and was a member of the Bear Clan and born of the Newcomer Band. He was a lifelong member of the Hill Top Presbyterian in Wewoka. He attended Tulsa Public Schools.
Marcie was employed as a painter and a pipefitter/welder. His employment with Port City Metal services was until 2018. He also enjoyed working at Port City Raceway with his late father Henry Long and his twin brother Marcus. He also enjoyed his time as a flagman at Creek County Speedway in Kellyville. He participated in the Tulsa Shoot Out and the Chili Bowl which he looked forward to. He enjoyed working these events with his twin, Marcus.
Marcie was a six-time champion in the indoor Flat Track racing series. He enjoyed watching sports on TV, stock car racing, word search books and spending time with family. He enjoyed pow wows and occasionally participated as a gourd dancer.
Marcie is preceeded in death by his parents, grandparents and his brother Michael Ray Long. He is survived by his two daughters; Amanda Long and Tasha Long of Tulsa, his twin brother; Marcus and brother Matt Long, his grandchildren; Shevy Long Smith, Anthony Harjo, Donavan Harjo, Alissa Walker, Kaylen Long-Smith, Jourynee Goree and Riley Goree and special niece Susanne Shaw. He also leaves behind a host of numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Wake services for Marcie will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, February 9, 2026, at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Fixico officiating. Burial will follow at the England Family Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
