Linda Charlene Hoskison

Seminole resident, Linda Charlene Hoskison, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024, in Seminole. 

Linda, the daughter of Ennis and Velma (Tye) Warden, was born October 23, 1951, in Prague, Oklahoma. She graduated from Varnum High School, with the class of 1970. On March 16, 1974, she married Billy Hoskison, in Yukon. Mrs. Linda worked at Headstart for several years, caring for countless little ones, during that period of time. Linda was a clothes hound, she enjoyed shopping and going to garage sales, and she loved her Boston Terriers. She was always on the phone, staying in touch with her family, as well as her beloved church family. Linda was a faithful member of Harvey Road Baptist Church for over 35 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her siblings, AB Warden, Carl Warden, Elsie Hill, Richard Warden, Johnny Warden, and Jesse Warden.

Linda is survived by her sons, Billy Keith Hoskison, of Okmulgee, Greg Upton and Melissa, of Chandler, Scott Lee Hoskison and Wendy, of Tulsa, and Brent Hoskison and Jadee, of Seminole; a daughter, Andrea Faith Miller, of Seminole; grandchildren, Trevor Upton, Lauren Upton, Tanner Hoskison, Rachel Hoskison, Billy Hoskison, John Hoskison, Sara Hoskison, Tara Hoskison, and Bailey Hoskison; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Melvin Warden, of Yukon, Floyd and Marilyn Warden, of Meeker, Rosie Soule, of Bowlegs, and Russell Warden, of Shawnee and many other family members and friends.

Services will be Friday, August 9, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Harvey Road Baptist Church in Seminole, with Colton Arbuckle officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
