Leopoldo "Leo" Marquez

Leopoldo “Leo” Marquez, resident of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed from this life to be with his Lord on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at the age of 44 years.

Leo was born November 11, 1981 in Jalisco, Mexico to Leopoldo and Ana Maria Marquez. The family moved to Corcoran, California in 1987. After moving to Seminole, Oklahoma in 2022, Leo and Maricia Allensworth were married on July 4, 2023.

Leo's great love was his family. He believed every minute he spent with them was a blessing and filled his heart with joy. He enjoyed anything outdoors, especially fishing and working with his farm animals, cooking for his friends and family, and visiting with everyone he could. Leo was a member of the Seminole Church of Christ and loved spending time with his church family, especially at any gathering where he could share a meal.

Leo is survived by his wife, Maricia; children-Marlen, Dalia, Daisy, Miguel and step-daughters Aubrey and Allison Cuevas; his parents- Leopoldo and Ana Maria; sisters- Rosalinda Marquez, Brenda and husband Jairo Gonzalez, Maribel and husband Mario Valadez, and Ana Luisa Melano; nephews and nieces- Ruby, Melissa, Jasmine, Ashley, Kimberly and Valerie Gonzalez; Mario, Efrain, Leonardo, Mateo, and Emily Valadez; Armando, Emiliano, Jeriah, Brianna, Violeta, and Jonathan Melano; and great niece Evalona.

Memorial services will be held at the Seminole Church of Christ on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
