Lee Loraine Stricklin

Paden resident Lee Loraine Stricklin, 84, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026, at her home.

Lee, the daughter of Paul and Rena (Fair) Gilbert, was born January 23, 1942, in Payson, Oklahoma, where she spent several years of her early life. She graduated from Bristow High School with the Class of 1962. Lee built a career in quality control within the oil and gas industry, ultimately working for Barton Valve.

On June 21, 1980, Lee married Jerry Stricklin in Paden, Oklahoma. She had a creative spirit and found great joy in artistic pursuits, particularly floral design and painting.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Lee is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Stricklin, of the home; three sons, Howard Peace Jr., David Peace, and Steven Peace; a daughter and son-in-law, Rina and Michael Martin; one brother, Raymond Montgomery; along with many other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Paden First Baptist Church, with Terry Pittman officiating. Inurnment will follow at Prague Cemetery.
