Leafa Georgetta Tiger

Leafa Georgetta Tiger, age 65, of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away on September 1, 2026. She was born on September 3, 1960, in Seminole to George and Nessie Tiger.

Leafa worked for the Chickasaw Nation for many years before returning to work for the Seminole Nation. She cherished spending time on the porch with her children and grandchildren. Leafa loved attending church, enjoying a pop and popcorn at the casino, and, most of all, giving everyone a hard time with her spirited sense of humor.

Leafa is survived by her children, Renea and Keith Williamson of Seminole; Karlotta Alsip and Patrick Randall of Holdenville; and Joshua Alsip of Seminole; one sister, Nancy Harjo of Seminole; 11 grandchildren, Brian Williamson, Tiarra Davis, Brayden Davis, Jerry Williamson, Xavier Randall, Caden Alsip, Heavenly Williamson, Anna Davis, Tristan Emarthle, Mia Alsip, and Titan Randall; and two great-grandchildren, Journey Clark and Kaliyeh Warrior. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Alsip, Caden Alsip, Brayden Davis, Xavier Randall, Brian Williamson, Jerry Williamson, and Tristan Emarthle. Honorary pallbearers are Leo Moppin, Daniel Tanyon, Jim Daniels, Justin Lena, Blake Lena, Bubba Fixico, and Patrick Randall.

A wake service will be held at God’s Assembly Church on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with Jimmy Moreland and Paul Fixico officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Leafa will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her. Her laughter, strong personality, and loving presence will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
