Kevin Dean Bruce

Kevin Dean Bruce, 55, of Vian, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, in Sallisaw.

Kevin was born on February 22, 1971, in Prague to Larry Bruce and Patricia Ross. He graduated from Bowlegs High School with the Class of 1990. Kevin worked in the oil field for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed watching OU football, working in his yard, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

Kevin is survived by his partner, Gina Riley, of Vian; children, Shelbi Lofton of Seminole, Sierra Malone of Seminole, and Kristian Gentry of Wewoka; his parents, Larry and Carolyn Bruce, and Patricia Ross; his brothers and sister-in-law, Billy and April Bruce of Seminole and Bo Kean of Okemah; his sisters, Angie Kean of Durant and Brandi Kean of Seminole; five grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, with Jeff Nance officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
